We will not accept School ID that is over 1 year old.
The parent accompanying a minor must be on the birth certificate, or have documentation supporting their guardianship. If last names do not match, (parent/child) documentation is also required.
- Will it hurt?
- It is never as bad as you assume.
- Is it customary to tip piercers?
- Just as anyone else in the service industry (such as waitresses) tips are accepted and very much appreciated.
- Do needles hurt more than guns?
- Not at all! A good thing to compare it to would be a shaving razor. When you cut yourself with a new sharp razor you dont even notice, and when you shave with a dull razor you notice it right away that it hurts. the needle would be like the new sharp razor, and the gun would be the dull razor.
- Can you pierce me with a retainer?
- Nope, retainers are not made to stay in for long pieriods of time. Thay are made to stay in for a few hours where as the initial jewelry needs to stay in for weeks.
- Why can't I get pierced with small jewelry?
- When you first get pierced your body swells. The jewelry that is initially inserted needs to be large engough to allow room for all that swelling. Remember that each piercing is different, so if you did not swell the time before that will not mean that you are not going to swell the next time.
- Does it matter where I purchase my body jewelry?
- Yep! It is a good idea to avoid the mall area, they like to buy the cheapest kind that they can find or they are constantly changing suppliers. The body jewelry industry is unregulated, and costume jewelry is often labeled as body jewelry. This is something that can lead to allergic reactions and possibly infection even after the piercing is fully healed.
